The following students from Severna Park were recognized at the 2015 Honors Convocation at Wittenberg University:

Emmaline Higgins was inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta, a national honor society that seeks to recognize and encourage scholarship among first-year college women.

Jocelyn Odell was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, a national senior leadership honor society recognizing leadership in scholarship, athletics, university publications, cultural life and student affairs.

Amanda Coleman of Owings, a freshman majoring in marine science at Coastal Carolina University, was inducted into the campus chapter of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.

Michaela Rachel Cunningham of Millersville was named a high scholar at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's All-University Honors Convocation. Cunningham, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Talya Stocksdale of Pasadena was inducted as a charter member of the South Carolina Chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon Honor Society at Newberry College.

Erin Morris, a senior from Crofton and Malcolm Jones, a junior from Annapolis, were scheduled to perform in McDaniel College's annual College Choir concert in April. Both are also Madrigal Singers at the college, and were scheduled to perform at a concert in May. Jones is also scheduled to perform in the May Gospel Choir concert.

Davis and Elkins College student Conner Sebreny of Crofton attended the second Student Education Association Teacher Conference on the college campus. The conference included several sessions with topics focusing on classroom management and testing for students with special needs. Sebreny, a freshman, is the son of Perry Sebreny of Crofton.

Caitlin Martinez of Annapolis was featured in Washington College's art show for her video "Melt You" shown at the 100 Proof student exhibit. Martinez is majoring in art and art history.

Sky Van Iderstine of Annapolis, a senior in the College of Engineering majoring in mechanical engineering and industrial design at Virginia Tech, participated in the VT KnowledgeWorks Global Entrepreneurship Challenge Semifinals. Van Iderstine also won Virginia Tech's Undergraduate Student Innovator of the Year award. Van Iderstine has launched two companies: Strapping Fellow, a custom watch strap company, and Formy, which creates custom grips for various products such as bikes and motorcycles using 3D printing.

Kade MacGregor of Centreville was one of 12 students recently inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society at Susquehanna University. MacGregor, an accounting major in the Class of 2016, is a 2012 graduate of Queen Anne's County High School. He is the son of Jon and Kristen MacGregor.

First-year student Kelsey Harrison of Pasadena was recognized at Lebanon Valley College's Celebration of Student Success. Harrison, a graduate of Chesapeake High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in health science.

Tyler Sisk, a junior at St. Mary's High School in Annapolis, has been nominated to attend the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders June 28 to June 30 in Boston, Mass. Sisk was nominated by astronaut Buzz Aldrin, science director of the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists, to represent St. Mary's High School based on his academic achievement, leadership potential and passion for science and technology.

The following students recently participated in Salisbury University's community cleanup project, "The Big Event." During the project, hundreds of SU students helped university neighbors with household chores such as raking leaves, cleaning attics and painting.
